The devs have confirmed multiple times that more monsters will be coming… But are you curious about all the Monster Hunter Now upcoming monsters? Luckily for you, we’ve made a list.

This list of Monster Hunter Now Upcoming Monsters wouldn’t have been possible without the MH Dataminer.
The dataminer was also responsible for the leaks for our Upcoming Weapons List. If you haven’t already, check out the article to see what future weapon types will be added to the game!
Officially, the developers have only teased Zinogre for the upcoming December update… But a look into the game’s asset and code shows that they have a lot more planned for us!
All Upcoming Monsters:
- Azure Rathalos
- Silver Rathalos
- Pink Rathian
- Black Diablos (which was released in the Diablos Invasion event)
- Zinogre
- Banbaro
- Barioth
- Radobaan
- Lavasioth
- Coral Pukei-Pukei
- Wulg
- Cortos
- Tzitzi-Ya-Ku
- Safi
- Xeno’Jiiva (Elder Dragon)
These monsters were either found within the game assets/code, referenced with sound assets, or their armour is currently in the game’s assets. For example, here are the armour they found for Xeno’Jiiva, Tzitzi-Ya-Ku, Rathalos Variants, and Safi.

The weaknesses for a few of the upcoming monsters are:
- Banbaro: Fire, Dragon
- Zinogre: Ice
- Barioth: Fire
- Radobaan: Ice, Dragon, Paralysis
This also seems to confirm that we’ll be getting a dragon element in the future, too. The upcoming monsters will also have unique mechanics.
- Barioth has a ‘Darkness’ gimmick (not elaborated).
- Banbaro will have trees and rocks that he throws with his horns.
- Radobaan will have cracked parts.
When are these new monsters coming?
We don’t know yet, however, Black Diablos was recently released with no announcement in the Diablos Invasion event. If you want to stay up to date with all the Monster Hunter Now official announcements, follow their Twitter account.
With the recent news of a Halloween event, it’s possible that we could see another subspecies released, similarly to Black Diablos.
Keep in mind, none of these leaks have been officially confirmed by Niantic or Capcom. The developers could still change or remove the monsters.
Elder Dragons?
An Elder Dragon is a class of Large Monster in the Monster Hunter franchise that has appeared since the first entry. They are usually the big bad boss, and are more powerful than your typical Large Monster.
In previous interviews, the Monster Hunter Now developers discussed the possibility of adding in Elder Dragons—which makes the news of Xeno’Jiiva’s armour in the assets exciting.
The developers have said they plan to release more monsters over time with updates and events. New weapons and weapon types will also release alongside new Large Monsters.
