In classic Niantic fashion, the Marvel World Of Heroes release schedule follows their typical soft launch approach. It’s just been released in New Zealand, with more countries to follow after.

Are you ready for the Marvel World Of Heroes release? You even create your own superhero!

Are you in New Zealand? If so, you can head on over to the App Store now and give it an install. It’s still yet to pop up on the Google Play Store, but we’ll be sure to tell you when it does.

The game is still currently planned to release worldwide by 2023. Our guess is Australia will probably be next following New Zealand, or Niantic also likes to go for European countries.

Gameplay in Marvel World Of Heroes features a turn-based combat system, with the goal of collecting gear and loot to boost up your character.

You can also assemble teams with other well-known superheroes for special attacks in fights. There’s also a heavy story element, with quests and proper cutscenes.

Are you excited about the Marvel World Of Heroes release? Our team here can’t wait for the full launch! We are all huge Marvel nerds, and Marvel cross Pokémon GO sounds like a match made in heaven.

We’ve covered the game previously, here. We’ll also be covering gameplay footage and in-depth mechanics in the future.
