Are you ready to celebrate love with the Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day event? Niantic has some sweet treats in store for everyone, like Shiny Tapu Lele!

Check out the new Frillish Top and Glasses!

The Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day event will begin on February 8th, 2023, at 10am and finish on Tuesday, February 14th, 8pm—local time.

This event kicks off strong, with the debut of Mega Gardevoir in Mega Raids—and for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Frillish and Shiny Tapu Lele.

Evolving a Kirlia during the event will also get you the featured attack, Synchronise. If you’re lucky, you might even find a Shiny Gardevoir from the Mega Raids.

Event Bonuses:

  • 2× Stardust from opening Gifts.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for two hours.

There’ll also be a timed research, called Lovely Wishes. The quests will also have branching quests, so you can encounter either a Blue or Pink Frillish!

There’ll also be a Global Valentine’s Challenge! As well as a Form Change available to turn Furfrou to a special, heart trim Furfrou! If you want to learn more, head on over to the official Pokémon GO website.

There will also be changes in wild encounters, raids, egg spawns, and field research tasks to be Valentine-themed.

This event will also add Valentine’s Day-themed stickers, and Frillish Top/Glasses Avatar items. Players will also have a Luvdisc Limited Research Day to look forward to!

If you’re a huge augmented reality gamer, you also have the Pikmin Bloom Valentine’s Day event to look forward to.
