There’s a Pokémon GO Chespin Event coming. It’s been announced, the Spiny Nut Pokémon will be featured in the 2023 January Community Day!

Niantic has announced there’ll be a Pokémon GO Chespin Event. The Community Day will happen on January 7th, Saturday, 2023. It’ll run from 2 to 5PM (local time).
For the first time ever, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Chespin! Spawn rates for the Pokémon will also be increased.
If you happen to evolve a Chespin to its final evolution, Chesnaught, during the event—it’ll learn the special attack: “Frenzy Plant”.
Along with this, there will also be a special Community Day Special Research Story, Quality Quills. It’ll cost $1 USD (or equivalent pricing tier in your local currency).

- 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance
- Lure Modules Will Last Three Hours
- 2x Chance For Trainers To Receive Candy XL
- Incense Will Last Three Hours
- Trades Require 50% Less Stardust
- One Additional Special Trade Can Be Made
After the community day event ends, there’ll also be special four-star Raid Battles! There’ll also be event-themed stickers you can get from Gifts, PokéStops, and the in-game shop.
Pokémon GO has also recently added Vivillon into the game! You can encounter it by pinning postcards you receive from friends, or find.
