All you Lady Dimitrescu (and her daughters) lovers out there can rejoice. The Resident Evil Village VR Mode is coming, releasing February 22nd next year.
Just check out the trailer! It looks incredible, and nail-biting immersive.
So far, Resident Evil Village VR Mode has only been announced for PSVR2. There’s been no mention of a SteamVR or Meta release.
“Making full use of the PlayStation VR2, you’ll be wholly immersed when playing Resident Evil Village with this DLC. Visually, the vivid graphics of the 4K HDR display (2000×2040 per eye) and eye tracking produces a heightened perception of reality as if everything you see is actually there. 3D audio enhances the realism with audio from every angle, and your sense of touch is enhanced via the PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers. With one controller in each hand, you can feel the vibration, recoil, and resistance as you interact with objects in the world and fire weapons.”

Considering the quality of Resident Evil 4 and 7 in VR, you can bet we’re in for a treat with Resident Evil Village.

On top of that, the game’s graphic fidelity on the PS5 is breathtaking. We can’t wait to see how it looks on the PSVR2.
Who’s ready to play as Ethan Winters again? With a headset on and all? Also, can you imagine looking up at Lady Dimitrescu with your own eyes?
The VR Mode will let you play the entirety of the game’s story—from start to finish, in virtual reality. Capcom has been amazing with its support of virtual reality over the past few years.
