Peridot is the newest augmented reality game from Niantic. It’s a pet simulator, inspired by the likes of Tamagotchi – you have a magical creature you look after.

The magical creatures in the game, known as Dots, are completely one-of-a-kind. No two players will have the same Dot. They’re procedurally generated.
You’ll take care of the Dots, by playing with them, taking them for walks, and of course—feeding them! Raising them from a baby to an adult.
You will also be able to collect more Dots by going to different landmarks, and finding other creatures to Breed them with. Every Dot has its own archetype, personality, and look!
Peridot isn’t the only upcoming augmented reality game to look forward to. It’s been announced NBA All-World is releasing early next year in January!
