In the latest update, Pokémon GO Bahasa Indonesia language support has been added to the game! There’ll also be an event celebrating this update.

This is incredible news for Trainers from Indonesia. This update aims to make the game more accessible language-wise, whether you’re just starting your journey or a Pokémon Master.

Players in-game will now be able to set their language to Bahasa Indonesia! Hopefully, we’ll see more accessibility options added to the game.

To celebrate this, Niantic will also be hosting a special event—”Waktu Indonesia Nangkep” to celebrate the Pokemon GO Bahasa Indonesia language support.

This event will include special Field Research, Timed Research, as well as special Bonuses and Limited-time boxes. You can read all the details in the official blog post.

This event will begin on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 at 7PM, and end Sunday, January 8th, 2023, 8PM local time.

The special Field Research tasks will reward players with Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, as well as Energy for their Mega Evolutions.

If you’re lucky, you might even encounter their Shiny variants! Niantic is also hosting a special Hoenn Mega Raid Day event to kick off the new Season.

Trainers in Indonesia will also get the following bonuses:

  • 2x Heart when adventuring with your buddy.
  • 2x Catch XP.
  • Chance of daily surprise encounters when you take GO Snapshots!
