The company’s “mission” is to: build immersive, interactive experiences that connect people to each other and to the world around them. It is unsure if this new project is going to be in the same fashion as their previous title – augmented reality.

However, it’s exciting nonetheless! It’s great to see the studio bouncing back so fast after their plans with Niantic fell through with Transformers: Heavy Metal. You can read all about the cancellation here.

Fingers crossed, that Very Very Spaceship hiring for new “crew members” (keeping with the galactic theme) is for a new game! If Heavy Metal were any indication, the team is extremely passionate and talented.

Current job listings include: Technical Artist (Rigging & Engine), Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead, and also for General Applications. If you’re interested, the company is Seattle-based and you can apply here!

Maybe you could be working on the next Pokémon GO? Speculation aside, hopefully, we hear more news about Very Very Spaceship’s newest project soon!

It’s unsure if they’re still working with Niantic, but they are still listed as a current partner on their Twitter account – whilst Hasbro has been removed.

Very Very Spaceship offers a range of benefits, such as healthcare – including medical/dental/vision. As well as life insurance, family/medical leave, and a 401k.

This indie studio is definitely one to keep an eye out on. If you want to stay up to date with all things augmented reality, subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on Twitter!
