Pikmin Bloom aims to be an app that “brings a little joy to your everyday journeys on foot.”

The game is out now on both iOS and Android devices for download in the Australia and Singapore region. The game will be following a roll-out schedule for release in other countries.

The main goal of the game is to walk around to grow more Pikmin, which can then be used to make flowers bloom and create beautiful gardens!

It also has a diary-like feature, so you can log your favourite memories and adventures.

If you want to learn more about the game, you can follow the Twitter account. We’ve also covered other Niantic games in the past, which you can check out here.

If you’re interested in a first impressions review/video, there will be one up on our partner website!

Pikmin Bloom isn’t the only new augmented reality game coming from Niantic. They’ve even partnered with Hasbro and are working on a new Transformers RPG.
