Niantic will be showing off their new AR Developer Kit, Lightship, at a virtual keynote conference next month.

This event will be taking place on Monday, November 8th at 10 – 11:45 AM PST time.

The Niantic Lightship AR Platform is what powers their games, such as Pokémon GO and Transformers: Heavy Metal.

This event will feature speeches from various figures at Niantic. Such as the John Hanke, the CEO, and Amanda Whitt, Lightship’s Product Manager.

There will also be a live Q&A at the end of the conference with a few of Niantic’s technical team members.

The Lightship AR platform is Niantic’s vision for a metaverse. They aim to provide developers worldwide with the tools to create high-quality and connected augmented reality experiences.
